What does your organisation do?
NAPLIC is an association for all professionals concerned with children and young people who have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). It is led by a volunteer committee and exists to promote and increase the awareness and understanding of young people with SLCN, amongst all the professionals involved in meeting their needs.
• To promote collaborative practice through the provision of opportunities for inter-professional discussion and networking.
• To promote best practice, through the provision of an information service, website, termly newsletter and annual conference.
• To promote the interests and concerns of NAPLIC members through liaison with other agencies and organisations, responding to relevant national and local initiatives.
