1) What did you change about the way that you evidence/evaluate?

Data Collection

Previously we hadn’t consistently collected data about the people who accessed our Down syndrome service, so to change this we reviewed our returns and audit procedures and are now consistently capturing data about who we see, what provision they receive and over time how often and when they access our service.

Alongside this we have also spent time clarifying our provision with the aim that we can now give a clear description of our service and more clearly define our outcomes.


2) What impact has this had on your organisation?​

This change will now allow us to develop a clear idea about 'who' accesses the service as well as being able to more clearly define outcomes for the service. This will allow us to next implement a focussed plan to evaluate some of these outcomes.
