Measurement tools

After working with an academic via TCT, we assessed our tools for evaluation. This included taking a closer look at our rating scales. Once assessing these, we found that more specificity was needed in the rating scales in terms of showing differentiation between bottom and top of the scale. This would allow us to measure change more clearly.

As a result of this support, we also committed to collecting feedback from parents, pupils and staff pre and post intervention so we were able to measure whether our approach led to any change for each of these beneficiaries.

We think that both of these changes will enable us to report on our evaluation outcomes more clearly.
